What should a hotel TV system include?

At minimum: a managed guest interface, room and device administration, legal content delivery, clear network requirements, hotel-service controls and an agreed privacy process for checkout.

Can one account manage several hotels?

Yes. COTT.TV supports multiple properties under one commercial account while retaining property-level rooms, devices, content and administration.

Can the hotel add its own content?

Yes. A property can add authorised local IP sources and hotel-owned information or media. Third-party channel rights remain the responsibility of the party supplying that content.

Beyond the television signal

A hotel TV system is the operating layer for every room screen.

The video stream is only one part of a working hotel television service. The full system also has to identify each room, control devices, present the hotel’s brand, manage content rights, support guest requests and reset the experience for the next stay.

A hotel TV system combines content delivery, room-device management and the guest interface. COTT.TV brings these functions into one platform for a single property or a group, with direct hospitality-TV applications and a prepared set-top-box route.

Guest experience: Branded home screen, live TV, hotel information, service ordering, messages and AI concierge.
Hotel operations: Central administration for properties, rooms, devices, content and points of sale.
PMS workflow: Property-scoped integrations can support welcome, room assignment and checkout reset where the TV platform permits it.
Deployment: Cloud or on-premise, with a direct TV application or a preconfigured COTT box.

The six parts of a complete system

A proposal is complete only when it covers both the guest-facing screen and the work behind it.

01
Room identity
Every device is paired with a room so content, messages and operational actions reach the correct screen.
02
Live TV and rights
International channels are enabled only where COTT.TV has the applicable territory rights. Hotels may add authorised local sources.
03
Guest interface
The hotel controls branding, languages, information pages, menus, offers and service entry points.
04
Operations and lifecycle
Administrators see device state, update content centrally and coordinate welcome and checkout workflows with the PMS.

Use the screens you have, or standardise with a box

The choice is made by exact TV model and operating requirements, not by preference alone.

Direct TV application

For compatible hospitality televisions

Compatible LG, Philips, Vestel and Samsung hospitality models can run COTT.TV without an additional room device.

We validate the full model reference, firmware and hotel profile before rollout because capabilities differ within the same brand.

Preconfigured COTT box

For consumer, older or mixed fleets

The box provides one consistent managed interface across different televisions and arrives prepared for the property.

The hotel connects HDMI, power and internet, pairs the room and manages the result from the same platform.

What makes the system operationally useful

The strongest feature list is the one the hotel team can actually control after installation.

No specialist for daily edits

Hotel staff should be able to update information, menus, offers and room settings without a deployment project.

One view across properties

Groups need account-level visibility while each property retains control of its local rooms and content.

Clean checkout

Guest sessions and credentials must be handled according to the capabilities of the TV platform and the agreed PMS workflow.

Clear commercial scope

The proposal must separate platform price, optional devices, channel licences, integrations and on-premise equipment.

The live demo is the guest-facing system, not a slide presentation. When you are ready, we can validate the actual TVs, network, PMS, room count and content sources.
