How Ellia Works

Ellia is an AI layer that runs on top of the COTT.TV platform. When a guest turns on the TV, Ellia detects their preferred language (via PMS data or manual selection) and presents a conversational interface alongside the standard TV experience.

Powered by natural language processing, Ellia understands free-text questions and responds with property-specific answers. Requests that require human action — such as room service orders or maintenance requests — are routed to the appropriate hotel department via the admin panel or PMS integration.

All interactions are logged and aggregated into an analytics dashboard, giving hotel management visibility into guest needs, common complaints, and service bottlenecks.
