- Yes. The COTT.TV admin panel includes a content management system where hotels can upload, organise, and schedule their own video content. Supported formats include MP4, MOV, and MKV. Videos are automatically transcoded and optimised for TV playback. There are no storage limits on the Cloud plan.
How does pay-per-view billing work?
- Pay-per-view charges are automatically posted to the guest's room folio via PMS integration. The hotel sets the pricing for each title or content category. Guests authorise the purchase on-screen, and the charge appears on their bill at checkout. Revenue from PPV content is retained entirely by the hotel.
Does VoD content support multiple languages and subtitles?
- Yes. VoD content supports multiple audio tracks and subtitle languages. The system automatically selects subtitles based on the guest's language preference (detected via PMS integration or manual selection). Hotels can also upload their own subtitle files for custom content.
